Back when I used to compete SPL, I used the JBL Power Series subs. But I have seen NO post about anyone trying JBL in our cars.

We carry 6.5" Coax in our doors that seem to like shallow mount speakers. JBL makes the P662s Shallow Mount 2ohm speakers which seem to be a perfect match for our cars.

Has anyone tried these?

I have not tried these speakers yet. I just want to see if anyone else has. I will be purchasing these this summer and installing.

It seems most are going with cheaper replacement speakers and generally JBL's are more expensive then other brands. Let us know how you like them. With a 75 watt RMS, you might need an amp to power them.
