Paul, is this something that would be possible to get both sides from somewhere in Aussie Land? Found this on ebay

Looks to be similar to what SLP is using on their axlebacks. Thoughts?

Yes it's very possible to obtain the VX Senator tips and also the others I'll post pics of below. The VX tips are all "slash cut" meaning they are shorter on the outside of the car than the inside, but looking at the underside of the VE that shouldn't be much of an issue.

The thing I'd look at is the height of the tip, Senator is 80mm high. Allow an air gap between the top of the tip and your bumper....makes the centerline of the pipe about 55mm below the top of the bumper cutout.
How does that suit the exit hole from your rear muffler ?

You will have to extend the pipe coming into the tip, but it wont be much length to allow you to adjust horizontal centrelines if needed.

VX GTS Double D tip (shows Callaway heritage), but twin 2 1/4" pipes in.

Will 110mmW x 80mmH fit in your bumper cutout, still retaining a decent air gap all around.....and retain the stock (or reasonably modded) horizontal centreline into the muffler ?

Haven't had a chance to check the dimensions, but as soon as I get a chance I will check back with you. I like the looks of the HBD tips as well. Going off of what I can recall from past measurements, I believe the Senator tips should fit the opening without a problem.
