I plan on going out to Houston Raceway tonight, wondering who else plans on making it out. The weather looks like it's going to produce a good day for racing. This will be my first time out racing on the track, anyone know if they have helmets available there? Hope to see you guys there...

I will be there and so will some of the guys from ls1gto.com. Goal is to go from 12.933 to somewhere in the 12.8xx. I can only dream of a 12.7xx for a bone stock car.

As far as they know, they don't have helmets to loan. There is a good possibility you can borrow one. Most of us let our cars sit for 30 minutes between runs............run one, run another, cool car for 30 minutes then restart the cycle..........and maybe you can get a loaner while somebodies car is cooling down.

If you can, do like I do. I get there at about 530 and I am one of the first to get teched in, then I go to where the staging lanes start and get in the very first run or two. This his where I do my prep of lowering the tires. The later you get there, the less runs you will make. I am guessing that at about 730 or later the lines in the staging lanes will be pretty long. The best thing is to get there early and you can get in about 4 or so runs before the crowd gets there.

Yeah that's what I planned on doing, do a couple runs, then watch afterwards. Hmm not too sure about getting someone to loan me their helmet, maybe if I knew them lol. I'll figure something out.

Hopefully it's not too packed. Opening on Sundays again would be sweet.

I was between 13.02 and 13.12. The DA wasn't as good as it was the week before, nor was the track prepped as well.

vv8 and I had one hell of a race, but he got me in the end. This was my 13.02 run, and I wanted some more of him. I told him he brought out the best in me. :D
