When I got my G8 (10/1/09) I wrote to this forum complaining about the lack of the "little extras" that were lacking on the car. As of this morning, I've completed installing the following;

19" wheel and new tire, scissor jack, Torque wrench and socket. Replaced the compressor and "goo" in the trunk well. Cost $429.00

Installed HomeLink, 3 button garage door opener. $19.90, including freight.

Installed Gentec Electrochromaic mirror from 2007 Trailblazer. $35.60, including freight.

HomeLink was the most difficult (about a 4 on a 1 -10 scale, 10 being the most difficult). Mirror was a 1. It took 3 minutes, max.

Wheel, tire, jack etc. was a no brainer.

Now I'm a happy camper.

I'm happy when a car turns on and off, goes forwards and backwards, turns left and right, brakes rather well and goes fast. But, I'm glad you've made the car acceptable to your tastes. Congratulations, you've contracted the bug. Some recover rather quickly, while others are troubled by the malady until death. Good luck and happy moddin'.

Very nice. Now on with the go fast stuff. Or maybe some sound improvements. :)
