I've been to Sydney and Cairns - both beautiful places. Looks like there is another reason to find a way to get back to Australia. Great pics. Were they taken from Crazy Pauls personal jet?

Beautiful pics. Once my little girl grows up enough to be able to sit on a plane that long, we'll come visit :)

Is there any Holden dealers looking for a parts guy?

Thanks Paul, You just saved me 1000's of $'s now I don't need to go to OZ, I feel like I have already been there.

I'm sure they'd gladly take anyone who can understand and find things on the current web based GM global parts system. All of the pre 2008/2009 Holden info which was perfectly easy to navigate got transferred across to the NA controlled new system. Now all the Holden parts guys curse GM everytime they try to find something.
Just yesterday we were trying to find some front bumper parts, about an hour later they were found in the Rear Suspension category.

Oh you mean in group 7?

What ticked me off was we used to use Microcat (which is from OZ) and I could look up Holdens, Luminas and European Caddy's. Now we have a newer epc based in the States and we can only look up American GM.

I'm not sure what group it was.

I think it's similar here, we can't see Pontiac.

I should have stayed in Australia when I had the chance... used to live in Sydney and the apartment was opposite to the Oprah House / Harbor Bridge good view... then moved to Wollongong, Australia... could have brought me a real HSV!

btw... nice pictures Crazy Paul!

Yup, this is more or less reinforcing my earlier decision that, should the US ever become too much for me to handle, I shall beat a hasty retreat to Australia.

Great pics, it’s been many yrs since I was in Australia but I love it. I spent most of November 1982 in OZ starting in Sydney then onto Alice Springs with a change of aircraft in Adelaide I must have flown over the Holden plant. While in Alice I visited Ayers Rock at that time there was no resort hotel there only a truck stop / general store / petrol station. The last week and a half were in Cairns, Port Douglas and Townville. I have always wanted to return. I even mastered driving on the other side of the road. People in Australia are great! I had even looked into moving but I checked real estate and most of the homes are pretty pricy there at least compared to TN and MI only places I have owned homes. Thanks again for the pics….
