I dont really ever take my car to the store but I needed something so decided to stop since I was close by. Long story short I parked facing forward on the space and it looks like someone gave a kiss on the rear. The scratches look like they came from the screws holding a license plate.

I dont want to go the cheap way out and just slap a bumper sticker over it. I went to this place close to my job and they quoted me $350 to repaint the whole bumper.
Does anyone know of a good place I can take it to around Houston. I havent took it to the dealership yet.
Advise appreciate.

Dude, I feel your pain. I was washing my car the other day and noticed paint flaking from my bumper. turns out that flaking was from where someone backed into me. Now I have very nice crows feet all along the rear. FML.

If you get it done somewhere let me know how they did, if the price was right, and I may end up there too.

Sucks about your bumper. I was out washing my car a few days ago and I noticed a nice sized scratch on my rear quarter panel. The neighbor's 4 year old grandson came over and said "I think I scratched your car with the zipper on my coat." He was honest about it, and I can't really get mad at a 4 year old, so I guess I'll just deal with it for now.

Heres a cheap and efficient way to fix those spots until you decide to repaint.

Supplies needed:
Mequiars Finishing Detailer
Touchup Paint
2000 Grit wet sanding paper
Meguiars Scratch X
Meguiars Cleaner Wax
Meguiars Gold Class Wax

1. Use the detailer to clean the area
2. Wet sand the area where the paint is missing going over up to 2"
3. Use the detailer to clean the area
4. Use touchup paint to fill in the area, you will want the touchup paint to stickout past the factory paint
5. Allow touchup paint to dry completely
6. Wetsand the area until the touchup paint is even with factory paint
7. Use detailer to clean the area
8. Use the scratch X over the entire area. May need to do this step several times until the scratches are gone
9. Use detailer to clean the area
10. Lay a couple coats of cleaner wax over the area
11. Final step, apply a good coat of wax

G8H8 thanx for advice...
I'm going to go back to the store and see if they caught anything on tape but yea I think I'm most likely take it to the shop that quoted $350 on Friday. They do good work and the guy said that all their work comes with lifetime warranty. and Polo thats gotta suck about the 4 year old...at least make go stand in the corner for some time, haha

I was at a Home Depot and somebody managed to put 5 or 6 perfectly parallel scratches on the driver side quarter panel. Looks like there were putting a rake in their car and hit my car with it. I usually park well out in the lots but this time I had some family with me and parked a closer than normal. It always happens on the one time you don't park in the boonies.

350's a good price... If it's done right...

I paid 475 to have the front fender painted.

Make sure who ever does it, takes it OFF the car to spray it though.

Yeah, Richie is good but not cheap. I had my bumper sprayed by Beck and Masten North and they did a great job with the white. You might want to try them. Sorry to hear about that...I am worried as my daily driver too. I am currently looking for a dd that I can beat up on.

You might want to check the deck lid to bumper clearance. Looks like the bottom of the deck lid can contact the top of the bumper.
