-- did a burnout with one wheel spinning[passenger side] then broke the passenger side axle on launch

-- George had to get towed 175 miles at $4 a mile.... OUCH!!!

With an ugly new girl friend :( in a tow truck. I asked if he wanted to get it towed to my house and pick it up later with a trailer, but he didn't want to go through a 6 hr round trip to get his car later.

I made 4 runs hooked twice and spun twice.12.46(had to get out and back into it a couple of times) and a 13.+++++(spun so bad I just went for a short drive)

I haven't had much luck with hard launches and my DRs. Anything more than 1100-1200 and it eats the tires.

CHARLIE...you out there? Why are these cars breaking axles? Is our LSD not locking enough or quick enough? Why are they spinning one tire? Axles weak? Car can't handle DR's properly? Have we seen breakages with twin turbo'd or supercharged cars? Are the stock parts just not meant to take this kind of pressure/force? I don't get it...

The axles are snapping (left side) do to the posi releasing its energy and then reapplying as the car launches. It is snapping the axle where the grove is cut for the retaining ring is my guess.

I assure you I will fix this issue. I am firing off e-mails as we speak.

I want a Detroit Locker, but will settle for a TrueTrac.

It was that god damn passenger seat! I was only spinning the passenger side tire, the passenger side axle is fuxxor'd, and I put the passenger seat back in.

It doesn't matter if you do a big burnout or a small one when only one tire is spinning.
