The Commodore VE, on which the G8 is based, dominates the field in a "V8 Supercars" race from Australia to be carried on SPEED TV this coming Sunday, 12/13/09, at 1 p.m. eastern. Thanks to all on an earlier thread from that "other forum" who helped find this out!

Having seen a clip of Commodores racing, I can vouch for it being very exciting to watch them hustle NASCAR-sized sedans through a narrow winding road course track at speeds that sometimes seem to defy physics.
