Has anyone had any issues wil aftermarket Alarms for the G8. I just want to make sure before I let them touch my car.

The factory setup IMO is the best one out there for REAL security. No false alarms and all the B.S you get with an aftermarket system. I have had them all and NONE of them are worth a damn after a few years.

I got a Clifford 770. It works great, far and away better than the factory system which really isn't an alarm at all. the only caveat is that there is (or was at the time anyway) no module available for the remote start. all that means is you have to use the factory remote start.

Be sure the installer properly seals the point where the power cable passes through the firewall or you get leaks.
