Dennis Staszak, a writer for Pontiac Performance Magazine, is looking for G8 owners to write a profile story on who recently traded in a non-GM to purchase a G8. He'll even take a non trade in, provided that the story or person is interesting.

I had the pleasure of working with Dennis a few months ago, as he did a profile story on me and my G8 that will be running in the fall edition of the magazine.

Anybody here interested in having a story ran on them?

If so, here is his contact info:

I might just have to call him. I went from Sport compacts for the past 14 years to the G8GT.

Wonder if a 3000 mile trek to buy my G8 would be a story of interest.

Dennis is a helluva nice guy. I'm sure he'd be interested in all your stories. The impression I got on his last email is that he is under the gun. His editor wants another profile ASAP.

I was nothing special to do a story on, just got lucky. I just happen to fit the profile bill that Pontiac was looking for. An I.T. guy who is in his early 30's that is also a gear head.

If they pic you for the profile, Dennis will call you up and do a phone interview. It'll take about an hour or so. Then they'll send a local professional photographer out to take some snaps.

All in all, it was pretty tits.

That mag sucks a$$... I opened that and gave it to my girlfriend and said, "look through this and tell me if you find any parts that are performance related". Being she looks at pictures and was looking for car parts, she didn't find any. Then handed it to my friends and said, tell me something in this mag that matches it's name. They promptly through it back and said "nothing".

That mag should say, G8 Mag with some stuff for out of date people.

G8 owners contributing to it can only make it a better Magazine. We are part of Pontiac performance.New School !

I sent Dennis an email. Maybe he'd be interested in a performance parts business that sells parts to make G8's go faster!

Stay tuned, very possible that the fastest, non shop owned, or sponsored, G8 will be coming to a magazine near you ;)

Did you get your G8 in North Carolina? My salesman was talking about a CA buyer who came and bought a Stealth Blue around the time I was looking.
