The center caps that came with the wheels I got for winter tires were not to my liking so I modded them.:)

The hardest part was getting a flat cap to fit a domed cap. The center is plastic so I heated it up to make it soft and I was able to mold it and make it flat. I then got a set of center caps off a G6. They just happened to be the right size and I got them for $25 on ebay. I had to cut the tabs off of the G6caps and then grind down the back to make it completely flat. After that I just used some 3M double sided tape and put the two together. What do you think?

Thanks, they were just under $550 shipped from Tire Rack. They also have them in black with the polished lip and I almost went with them. I guess if these ever get messed up I can always paint them.

Yeah they are 18x8 and what sucks is they are now on close out for $109. Tire Rack has 19 18x8 that will fit the G8 for less then $150 each.

No not yet, I have not even put the tires on them yet. I will get them on sometime next month and I will post pics then.
