George proved today that the driver mod is the most important mod.

I have been around drag racing since I was 5 and helped 100s of people. By far George is a great listener and his years of experience racing paid off.

Even with a seat out, I bet if you weigh him in his car vs. the 2nd fastest one with driver you will see he may have saved 20 pounds if he was lucky.

My hats off to you George!

Oh, I told you so!!!! :nah: lol

The man keeps a note book with everything he did on every run. I need better tires and some suspension work to launch at 2200 like he did. I think I might order 28" tall DRs and see how that works. One thing that was nice is that the prep was the best I've run on all year at Cecil.

Thats what it takes though. You must keep variables to a minimum.

By far he is the fastest G8 right now. What I mean is, if he makes 5 passes and you get an average, I bet you he is hard to beat.

However, I am just as anal when it comes to making passes. :)

Did ya notice I changed my sig???

Not taking anything from George but Yeah I agree on the suspension mod. Those coilovers are way better than stock.

Lt Dan didn't do bad in my car. We got a new best et & mph / 11.922 @ 116.92
After logging the runs we did find out that the shifts points at WOT weren't consistent. Time to update the tune.

My car was consistently bad today. LOL
11.92 / 11.98 / 12.00 / 12.01 / 12.02

But it looks like we found the reason. :)

I dont know about that Roy.

I think he needs to come up another 1/2in in the front(at least) and maybe the same in the rear. That will help the weight transfer of the car, BUT when you raise it, it increases the rear spring rate and now its hard for the rear to squat.

If we could get coilovers that you could adjust bound/rebound and get spring rates for it once you scaled the car....THEN that would be the shit!! (Working on that as we speak)
