If this is a repost, I'm sorry.

According to the November GM emerging issues video:
GM is reveiwing on a case by case bassis, and authorizing dealers to
send the driveshafts to Dynotech engineering (http://www.dynotechengineering.com) to balance the two piece driveshafts under warranty. They are certified by GM, have the neccessary fixtures and jigs provided by GM to balance these. According to GM, no return complaints so far after they are balanced. As of now (whenever the video was taped) the driveshaft in GM SPO stock is will not correct condition.
just an FYI. Thought it was interesting.

Yep, dealer handed me the print-out of that PIP when I went in a couple weeks back for my vibration. Supposedly GM is telling them to hold-off fixing this until they have a proven solution. BUT...my service writer did say that if I push hard enough, they will do whatever it takes to make me happy. I'm leaving for vacation the end of this week through the Holiday.

I will use this information when I get back to get this done - finally.

Thanks for the info...
