These won't actually be on my car until after Thanksgiving due to my travels, but I thought you all might like to see:

Man this is the only reason i wish i had an 08 instead of an 09.......i spent 2 days trying to get my headlights apart just to find out that it could not be done because of the silicone they use to seal the 09 headlights.....looks great though

Those look nice. I hope they won't be a ticket magnet...

How easy was this to do if someone were to pick up an extra set of the older headlights?
Rough price?
Also, I assume the color options are wide open?

They are amber. They should be faily close in color to turn signals. If I had gotten Blue, Red, or Green, I think it would be another story.
If you have an extra set of headlights and you do the install yourself, this is a cheap mod, a couple hundred dollars.

Those look terrible! Are you kidding me? What were you thinking? You should pull them off and send them to me because they would look good on my IOM. Of course in turn I will help you out and send you my stockers...

So how hard is it to take off the front bumper? I have a headlight that has fogged up after HID installation that I need to get the headlight out so I can bake the moisture out.
Looks awesome by the way! Very sinister looking...

I haven't decided on the fogs yet. I am liking the way they look like eyes and especially the way the big ring on Brights is cut off at the top, it gives it a furrowed brow angry look. I think doing the fogs might pull from that appearance.

Nice post! You got me for about 3 seconds. I got halfway through the 4th sentence and went back to the start to make sure I had read it correctly. Thanks for the "compliment"!

The Full Report:
The Group Buy started my interest in Halo's. I decided to do the Orange Halo's after seeing a Grey 2010 Camaro with dark orange stripes on Camaro5dotcom get Orange Halo's from AAC. Since my car is daily driven and I am not much of a do it yourselfer I decided to go the long route. My headlights weren't in perfect shape either, so I also wanted new ones.
I ordered up a set of new headlights from Greg at Pace Performance. I have done business with Greg before and always gotten great service with clean and concise service. $179 Each.
I had the lights shipped directly to AAC to have them install the Orange Halo's. Tiffanie did a good job of communicating with me, although her responses were a little slow sometimes.
I was in South Africa for 3 weeks so I did most everything via e-mail. AAC had the lights for about 2 weeks before I got the photos, the ones I posted first, not mounted on the car. I was surprised that when they shipped them to the shop who was installing them for me that they used ground which took an additional week and a half. $49 for shipping seemed pretty steep for ground until I saw the box they shipped them in. Lets just say they package for safety! There is now way they lights will get damaged with that packing job.
Halos were $100, thanks to the Group Buy Discount. $179 for the install, again, thank you Group Buy. Thanks!
$15 extra for the Orange color.
$49 for a remote control. The remote was on the invoice and I was charged for it. It was not in the box. I e-mailed Tiffanie and she said that there was a note on the invoice that they were on back order and I should receive it in 2 weeks. I have the invoice in front of me, no such annotation.
My car was already at a local place, Benchmark Motoring for another reason, so I asked them to install the new headlights. They quoted me 4 hours of labor to remove the front bumper, remove the old lights, install the new ones, wire them up, and re-install the new bumper.
The installer had a very tough time installing the lights. He said that they mounting bolt holes were off by around 1/2 inch. His thought was that they were either glued back together slightly out of kilter, or that the baking process to open them up warped them. I haven't had time to dig in and give it a thorough look yet, the weather has been cold and and ugly, plus it is a holiday weekend.
The last thing of note is that there is condensation in the lights. When I turn off the car and leave it, a small amount of water collects on the face. I have not addressed this with AAC yet. I do plan on e-mailing them.
I drove directly by a city cop doing a radar trap with just my Halos on yesterday and he looked right at me. So far so good!
I really like the way they look and have gotten positive feedback from several people who have seen them. My car already draws a fair amount of attention, and this seems to be adding to the draw.
I was thinking about a custom license plate: SSNSTR
