I have a 302 block that I got from my uncle. He said its an A4 block. It's never been used and he said he thinks he paid 1,500 for it. I'm not sure how old it is. How much should I ask to sell it for?

If it is brand new and never has been machined then you should be able to get atleast $1,000 for it. You should post it on racing junk.com

Do some research Rick. Old GM 454/408 blocks are going for around 5k.

Part # for Ford A4 Block is M-6010-A4. This block was replaced with the siamese bore Ford R-block years ago. The A4 is a Iron block not aluminum.
Like I said if it has never been machined you should be able to get $1,000 for it, if someone is really interested in it. Most racers that run Ford usually use The SVO R-block or DART blocks. If I was looking to sell it I would take any offer $700 - $1,000 my 2 cents.

A4 is great for hi HP and power adders. They bring 1k-1500 still.
