View Full Version : That stupid nasty stain on the back of the intake manifold

I notice alot of V6's have that nasty water stain at the back of the intake manifold.I had my hood liner replaced due to water stains on it but never asked the dealership to replace the intake.Anybody ask the dealership about this problem yet?Just wondering if there was a way to clean it or even paint it.Every time I pop my hood that frikin stain just stares back at me,driving me crazy.

I believe its coming thru the middle of the rubber seal some how and dripping down on the intake,but i'm not 100% sure.Nice choice in color by the way,car looks great !

Obviously why they went to a one piece engine cover. Problem solved.
