I should actually talk to Charlie before I post such outrageous comments on intake's, cause really, you all know better anyway.

Unless its a spammer from AFE which I'm guessing it is, I mean a first post as an add with BS #'s... If the shoe fits ;)

Your link does not show a true ram air unit.

Yes and No. No because I cant get banned (Ray/George dont think about it!) and yes in a way because I give every member/post the benefit of the doubt, so that means I have to contact the manufacturer, on the phone, get the name of the person I spoke with and get data/dyno sheets faxed or E-Mailed. Thats why I only promote what I use because I can say what is good and what is junk.

I put him in the moderation cue! He can post but we have to approve them! If he works out to be legit we can reverse it.

No not on the MPGs, just the product, and how its made. I can look at an air intake and tell if it can make 20 hp, probably why I have a Roto-Fab, even though they dissed me!

The interesting point I took from the other post was his insistence that it was a "Ram air system" and he saw the numbers on the dyno. Now I'm not a engineer, wait, actually I am, .... anyway I digress. Correct me if I am missing something but ....doesnt a Ram Air System need forward movement to actually "ram" the air into the system. Wheels spinning on a dyno in fact makes it a static air intake. Any way I guess I will just keep my Roto Fab, HSRT and ECM/TCM order.

If the AFE works that well my Roto-Fab is coming off. Especially since I only got 7hp with catbacks and cai. :)

See that how GOOD the AFE unit is... It doesn't even need the car to be in motion to RAM the air in... :cd:

on a side note, I'm getting 2.7 MPG better with my NEP CAI :)
I feel my AFM kick in a lot more now on my highway drives, which I do 60 of a day minimum.

Thats correct. Thats why the lower panel mod gives an ET gain but not on the dyno unless a fan is UNDER the car.
I would treat him here just like I did on the other site. Check out my post there.
