We need to add more rungs to the "Idiot Ladder" Charlie talks about. This guy has climbed right off the top.

I just hope by calling him an idiot we haven't insulted idiots.

We haven't seen him for a while. I guess he is on an outpatient basis now and has access to electricity and computers.

Okay, but let's be honest: unfortunately, I have seen behavior on these types of boards where a vendor was allowed all sorts of inappropriate behavior because they were PAYING. The sad reality is that there are very poorly supported positions both by private individuals AND by certain vendors...but the $ tends to skew how the transgressions are dealt with. I have been threatened by a vendor for simply posting something that another company had told me. I simply recited the info.

All that said, there are morons on the internet who would NEVER act this way in person. As a guy who has been walking this planet for 50 yrs, I've seen a lot. I work hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. But it gets REALLY TIRING dealing w/ certain folks.

Thanks...I certainly get the feel that this place is a bit different, and for that I am grateful. What tends to happen is that information exchange starts to shift into "INFOMERCIAL MODE" and it gets harder to really assess what is being said.

That was the main reason this site was started. I had a few issues and now I have none and other then the "poser" that has been the only issue in 2 months, but I really feel its because the age and maturity of the members. Well Chris and I dont count for maturity! LOL
