Tonight for the first time since I had the car, I felt slow. REALLY SLOW. One reason is because people were trying to pick races with me all night. One with a Talon which everyone was convinced it would be me (probably would) then another kid in a Mustang putting down over 500 to the wheel. Kid is 17. Not to mention the other day I had to have my tune replaced with the stock one so I can get the TSB tomorrow for the tranny. I never realized how much of a difference it makes. The breath between shifts is terrible, car feels mushy and sluggish, I did a few 0-60's and it must of been mid 7 seconds. Then another 17 year old kid gave me a ride in a very old Acura with a V6 which to my surprise, really moved. I know i probably sound like a spoiled brat right now but, to go from feeling hi and mighty to nothin special just sucks. Ah well, I get my CAI and HSRK tomorrow. Hopefully that will cheer me up :) If only the had the money for the header's, UD pulley and a cam, I would be a very happy driver

When I was 18 I drove a box stock 1988 Z24 Cavalier. Cry me a big blue river.

;)

When I was 20, I bought a '90 454SS Chevy pick-up. That was better. lol

lol. I was expecting that. It's true when they say the more you get, the more you want. I'm never satisfied, my big character flaw. I get one thing I want, then i want more to make it bigger, faster, louder or whatever. :poke:

A stock G8 is not slow. You own a performance sedan, not a race car.

I think it's mostly because my car is back to stock for a while with the ridiculously sluggish tranny. I didn't realize until now the deep breath it takes between shifts.

Well.......Not quite sure some of us are still considered performance sedans. ;)

Once you get your CAI and HSRK installed and a tune to go with it, you'll be back in the saddle and looking for competition again! Watch out everyone on the 17th, there's a bad Panther Black G8GT coming through the gates!
