These 2 piece Holden 6.0 Covers require the following in order to fit the Pontiac G8-GT :

a) You need to trim the passenger side cover to clear the heater hoses....unless you have done the Heater Hose Relocation mod.
b) You need to remove and discard the beauty/noise cover from on top of your LS3 intake manifold.
c) You need to purchase 4x threaded studs #11609319.
Greg@Pace sells these studs way cheaper than I can.

These 2 piece covers are Holden OEM fitted on the VZ 2005-2006 6 litre cars.
Those cars did not have the heater hoses in the same place as G8-GT and had the earlier L76 intake with no beauty cover. Hence the reason for the mods required.

You need 4 x these threaded studs:

They screw in here, 2 into each valve cover, to firmly locate and support the bottom of each cover.
The covers also clip onto your stock fuel rails at the top.

If you ever lose or need to replace the rubber cups from underneath each valve cover (2 per side).

Unbelievably no.
Holden apparently did a production run last Friday but these are yet to hit the shelves in Aust. I haven't been able to buy any since 14th Feb.

5 sets that I sent by sea in mid Feb have only just arrived to fulfil existing paid up USA orders. There are none of these left now.

I'll let you know here when I get my hands on more stock.

Probably a Holden radiator cover with some home made renovations added.
The piece with the Caution sticker on it was added to better blend with the aftermarket long radius intake air coupling.

They're too large to ship thru the postal system, so the shipping costs a fortune because you have to pay on volume (space occupied) and use UPS/Fedex/DHL/ etc.

Not difficult, just expensive to buy new, and expensive to ship internationally. They're too large for the Postal system.
You'll find good used ones on Aussie ebay but nobody will want to traumatise themselves with shipping overseas.

This is going to be embarrassing if I'm doing something wrong but am I missing something here? I cannot for the life of me get the passenger side cover to fit correctly. Heater hoses are relocated and the intake cover is removed. Driver side snapped on just fine. This sucker just won't go down though. I finally realized the oil dipstick is what looks to be blocking me. Was that supposed to be moved?

Couple picks. Tried to get how far this is off. It's lined up perfectly with those studs on the valve cover and the oil cap.

See in your last pic how there's a cut-out groove for the dipstick tube.
Your tube is coming up about an inch further forward than the groove.
You can extend the groove in the cover with a file....or bend the bracket holding the tube to the head.

I had the same issue on mine. I just bent the bracket. Once you get it on, see if the hoses are sitting on the engine cover. Mine were and over time the hoses on the cover wore off the silver paint either from rubbing or just the heat.
