I was curious how can I get my hands on these:

Through Cadillac parts department? I am looking for seats that look like they came with the car to keep me in place when I drive on the track! Any suggestions?
I have found these:

How in the world do I get my car weighted?

The freeway? lol.

Do they let cars in the truck weigh stations? I thought there was a law against that.

Don't use state highway weight stations. But you can use a truck stop weight station, or a grain elevator.

You might want to check out cadillacforums, sometimes there are guys there that want to swap out their recaros for the regulars. you might be able to get a lead over there.

I would look for a set of CTS-V seats on Ebay, if you don't have any luck on the Cadillac forums. Any GM dealer can get them but you will not want to pay that price.

Are those cts-v recaros lighter or just hold you in place better?

Our local landfill has a scale that your have to drive over on your way in and out.

My car weighed about 1800 kg if I remember correctly.

Both. I've heard they are slighly more uncomfortable for *ahem* above-average sized people, though i do not have firsthand experience of this. A pinch here, a pinch there, etc.

DOH! Better quality drag strips will have scales.

Just think of it this way: any extra poundage you carry with you into the car is free tenths on the 1/4 when you lose what ya brung. :nah:
