Weather was nice last night in Dallas with temperatures dropping from 55 to 50 while at the track. Baro was a little under 30 and Humi was in the 60s.
My mods are CAI, Maggie w/ stock pulley and tune, 1.75 Long tubes, High Flow Cat, & DHM Dual Exhaust Dumps. Rear tires are 275/40/19 Potenza RE050A @ 35 psi, so I'm rolling into the throttle to avoid spinning in 1st gear. Weight was 4250 with me in it.
On my first pass directly after driving to the track, I ran a 12.33 @ 109.72 on a 1.94 60 ft. After letting it cool down for an hour, I hotlapped it about 5 times in a row (the track was empty). Timing ranged from 12-14 degrees with no knock according to my Daskhawk. I raced with TC off in sport mode.
My best ET was..
60 ft - 1.919
1/8 - 7.93 @ 91.28
1/4 - 12.22 @ 110.27
MPH was consistent on most of my runs at 109mph. I was expecting more mph, but I'll take that ET. I'm very happy with the results considering this is my daily driver without doing any track tricks. Of course, now I want an 11 sec timeslip.;)

Great runs. Do you have a GT with the 1900?

Thanks guys. I have a 1900.
09gtt, what tires are you on to cut that 1.76? Do you have a converter? I'm shifting into 4th before the traps, so I'm thinking about trying to find some shorter 275/40/17 DRs on 17" SS Wheels to effectively lower my gear ratio. But it's nice not to have to touch the car to go racing.

Yeah great time! However I would expect more like 115-118mph traps

You can expect even better ETs with a tune. That plus some traction will get you into the 11s with ease. Congrats on the times. Must be a blast to drive.

That MPH seems waaaay off, youre only trapping 2mph more than I am, something aint right there. Would the stock tune really make THAT much of a difference?

A friend who races at Dallas Raceway every weekend said 1/4 mile mph has been wrong in the left lane for a while. Unfortunately, I stayed in the left lane all night to avoid water in the burnout box. I should be running about 114mph based on my 1/8 mph.
Maggie & Tuned people, how many degrees of timing are you seeing?
The car is also shifting into 4th before the traps. I need to raise the rev limiter and shift points or get diff tires.

Does anyone have a tune file for a maggie 1900 that they are willilng to share.
I ran my 1900 at the track with the stock tune and the best I was able to get was 12.8 @109. This was in the Florida heat and my iats were in the 120 range, so I was only seeing 13 degrees of timing at the top end.
I have since messed with the stock maggie tune and have a pretty aggressive timing curve now. I do not get any knock and the car pulls alot harder, I am going to try to get to the track tonight. I am curious how my timing curve compares to other maggie 1900s tuned for 93

Your car needs a higher stall converter, tune and drag tires to reach its potential at the track :)

Your car needs a higher stall converter, tune and drag tires to reach its potential at the track :)I agree with that , as all of these GT's need a Higher Stall Converter and Stickier Tires!

Didn't get out to the track last night because of the scattered rain showers. Hopefully the weather holds out next Wednesday night.

Nice ET's . Also, what boost numbers were you pulling through the traps?
I believe the stock pulley is supposed to be 6 psi, but I don't have a boost gauge to verify. Traction was better before I put on the H&R springs, but I'll sacrifice for better cornering.
Here's a pic of my car setup for drag racing. lol

FYI, thanks to a friend, I just realized the relay for the water pump was not working last weekend. After fixing it, my timing is back up to 17 degrees after my IATs dropped from 80-90 degrees above outside temp to 20-30 degrees above outside temp. Learn from my mistake. The car feels like a beast now. Time to make another visit to the track for that 11.

Nah, I never had any knock. It was just like I was racing in the Sahara desert all the time.

What are the details on your wheels? They look sweet!!

The wheels are Stern ST-1 in Hyperblack. 19 x 8.5 40 mm OS with 245/40/19 Bridgestone Potenza tires in front and 19 x 9.5 42 mm OS with 275/35/19 Bridgestone Potenza tires in rear.

Did you have to roll the rear fenders? Really like the blacked out grille surroundings. You gonna do the trim around the doors?
Boss Hogg

I cut 1/2 the wheel well. I'd prefer all black trim and door handles, but would rather not spend the money.
