I took off the CAI earlier in the week, a whole half hour worth of work. Even though the DA was barely in the negatives, the humidity was terrible.

Anyway, here are the results.

BONE STOCK 5400 MILES ON CAR.

Now I don't know how you guys are going to do this.......with a CAI mod, I am at 13.02, while I am at 13.11 at bone stock. I don't know if you will keep one or the other or both.

Nice! So the CAI is worth about .1 or 10 hp... about what I figured. Put the CAI back on and get a tune and you'll be in the 12s easy! Although you probably will hit your goal of 12s stock with a perfect weather day. Very consistent on the runs and nice 60's.

Timeslip. A little explanation, the printer ribbon at the track was in terrible shape, so I posted a slip that I got after the ribbon was changed. My best run was made before the ribbon change.

Sorry about that, best I can do. If anybody is a 'whiz kid' with photoshop or whatever, feel free to work on the slip, then repost it.

I am well aware of this fact, but thanks anyway.

I think a lot of folks go ahead and buy the CAI as it is a quick and easy mod that won't really kill the pocketbook, plus they figure that they will get one anyway when they start on their complete mods.

With both my GXP and my 05 GTO I never bought into the 10-20 or so rwhp that some people advertise, but like I stated, a tune is in my future, so may as well get the CAI and install it.
