Considering the holidays we are breaking from the usual last Saturday of the month for a little while.

Date: Oct 24th Saturday

Time: 11am-6pm
Place: Mod-day at Horn09 (PM him for home address)

Time: 6:30pm
Place: Hooters (BW8 in Pasadena - near Harley Davidson)

Plans are to hang/help Horn09 with upgrading his suspension on the GT, followed by dinner and drinks on the patio at Hooters.

PM me if you want my number in case you want to meet up.

I will bring a cooler with some refreshments during the mod.

We just were there 2 months ago. Time for a new spot that is more G8 oriented. I like going there, but 100 mile round trip to be bunched up with 100s of cars for a G8 meet isnt my cup of tea.

I might not be able to make this one, I think I already promised my wife I would go to a haloween party with her that day.

Just trying to swing it around. Folks at the last meet, in Katy, were interested in a location on the East side. I hear ya on the 100miles round trip ;)

November will be on the West side.

BestG8, I cant think of anything right off the top of my head... even though it was a drive for me, you, and todd, the frankensteins meet in katy was a good spot. It was nice having a section for just us to park ya know?? I'll put my thinkin cap on tomorrow and see if there is anywhere down here that we can meet up.

Still can't think of any place down here where we could meet that would section off parking for us, I know where we could go to hang/eat/drink(Pablos Pub),but theres no real spot to park unless we out back by the Staples/Best Buy, but whos to say we wouldn't get run off????.....But I'm still tryin... Anyone else have any ideas?

I know. Doesn't seem like people want to drive down this way (CL/Kemah area) again so I threw that out there. Don't know of anything on the eastside...

I probably won't come anyway since I am planning on doing my suspension install on Saturday. I would rather not drive it much until I get an alignment.

What about Chilli's in Baytown or if not the New Hooter's off of Beltway 8 in Deer Park next the the Harley Dealer.... They both have big parking areas.

I google mapped it, looks like a large strip mall parking lot. Just not sure of the inside space. Looking for anyone to roll by and check it out. Perhaps talk with proprietor?

Horn09 says we could help/hang at his place since he is doing a suspension upgrade. Maybe we could make this the first mod-day event :) He lives in Pearland.

Bring your lawn chair and cooler ;) Cheaper beer too.

Any objections? We could still head to dinner afterwards.

That wing place is small and we would be at capacity, even though parking is sufficient.

Since it is suppose to be a nice day I have selected the following which all should have a patio.
1) Fuddruckers (I45/BW8 - South Side)
2) Vito's Deck House (I45 Near Nasa Rd 1)
3) Hooters (BW8 - Pasadena)

Horn09 are you the person that came over to my house this past weekend with Kevin? We did something like that at my house about 2 months ago after we hit the track (HRP) since its in my back yard...lol It was just old racing buddies of mine but I wouldn't mind having over a bunch of G8 members.

yep, that was me over there.

Fixed the fuse problem that next morning...it was the aux power fuse... swear I checked that one while at your house.

the new wings n more on 45 south and fuqua has a huge parking lot, used to be steak and ale. Right next to Hilton furniture. Plenty of parking but not exactly big inside but its bigger then hooters. They have an upstairs area, never been up there but it might be something where you could have a private party or something.

Had a good time Saturday guys. I'm gonna try to make the Sealy meet on the 21st. Maybe next time we can get a few more guys out....
