Howdy y'all,
I have an A6 GXP with 4000 miles on it.
Since the day I bought it, both of these occur:
First, on a cold-start I will get a smidge of hesitation when accelerating from a stop, until the engine warms up a bit; Just for a minute or so, one or sometimes two starts. Then all is well.
Second, the engine lopes enough to make noticeable "throbs" in movement when backing out or pulling into the garage - in 1st gear or reverse, idle RPM, using the brake to control speed. I presume this is normal cam lope for this beast, but I want to know if this is a common experience.
Are these normal or expected? If not, do y'all think it's it worth taking it in, or will it just be a waste of time?
