So 12k gets me all the car i need, then i can pay someone to put it together for me. Does it seem unreasonable to think that for $15k i could have this car?

Something tells me that is about 8-10K in damages. Front clip, core support, radiator, condenser etc.

Looks a lot like the damage to my 2008 GT. They totalled it when the estimate for repairs hit $27,000. Hard to say without actually looking at the car.

WTF? People will look into buying that POS for $15+k but they wouldn't buy my perfectly good car for $19k?

People are odd...

I was gonna say, it looked like the Penguins car resurfaced!

But yeah, It might have been an OK deal if you weren't gunning for a car for yourself (I.E., were going to use it as a track car of some kind).

I would stay away.

Your car is the first thing I thought of when I read the original post.

I've told a couple of people about your car, and I thought one was really interested. He never called me back, so I don't know.

personally, i love salvage yards and possibilities of rebuilding wrecks, but frame damage is always a concern.

Appreciate it all! I have no idea why it didn't sell. I just gave up trying to sell it as I got sick of all the stupid questions and flakers. I like the car as does my wife so its easy to keep it... just don't get to upgrade and have to leave another car out in the rain.

Probably just gonna let it rest over the winter and do something cool with it in the spring.

I voted go for it, before I read this post.

You can get a non-R titled car for not much more...
