Defendant (me) accused of operating vehicle 34 mph in excess of the legal limit of 55 mph at 89 mph, an 8 point speeding ticket. Outcome, reduced to a 66 in a 55 with half the points at 4 points. Still an increase in insurance and still got some points. Could have been worse.

Damn...I thought my 78 in a 60 was painful. Good thing I didn't have any other tickets, they let me take a drivers safety course and pay the $140 fine and it never even made it to my license.

I had another speeding ticket before this one in my other car that they completely got rid of. They changed it to careless door opening. This one, not so lucky lol

I know I need one but I don't completely trust their ability to...work. I've heard many story's were they don't go off because of new lasers and how they go off when it's too late.

Well laser is impossible to stop unless you have a jamer but police arnt stupid theyll catch on pretty quickly to jamers. The only good a radar detector does if i police has his radar on.

My points for a 94 in a 55 drops off next month and I can not wait. I will be able to really test the G8 then. I have not driven over 80 in a 55 since. :charlie2:

It's called a track.

Yes but a very long track kinda like a highway with straight's a few miles long so you can see/experience the car's top speed.
