Yeah, just a little ;) If it is too bad I have the stock axle back to throw on until I get something else.

Nice, but buy some ear plugs. Close to my setup, my cam is bigger and I have 3" duals back. You'll discover all the interior pieces that are loose over time with the extra vibration. Cant wait to hear the results.

Numbers ????

Numbers ????

The numbers with the new exhaust is a classic case of bigger is not always better. It made 411 horse power and 370 torque with just the Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers. I was hoping for the usual 440 horsepower range that most with this setup are getting but I ended dropping to about 396 horsepower after the 1 78/ headers and 3 inch off-road X pipe were installed. My a/f is a solid 12.8 with 26 degrees of timming. The tune is there but with the ported heads and free flowing exhaust it needs more cam. I am going to throw the stock mufflers back on for now to see if I can get some scavaging and get a little more power back. Allen (from Nelson Performance) is getting with Patick G. to come up a good cam solution. Funny thing is that it feels faster or maybe it's just because it is loud as shit!! LOL

Sounds all to familiar. The stage II cam made 423rwhp for me and it was decided that my 3" duals with no cats were hurting the power. Vector put in a bigger cam and the numbers went up to 441/407. I'm going to Vector this Friday to have it re-dynoed to see what it will pick up now that it has some more miles on it.

Throw some cats on and I'll bet that you'll pick up some. I picked up 2rwhp/7rwtq by channeling the exhaust down to 2 1/2 where the cats should be.

Installed the stock axle backs and the car feels a lot better. Torque has picked up and horsepower as well. I haven't put it back on the dyno but I believe I found a some of the missing power. It sure is quieter but I will take the performance gains. I have actually been considering upgrading gears instead of going bigger on the cam since eventually I will be going forced induction. A little off topic but any opinions on gears with a stall and cam?

Just remember that nelsons dyno is very stengy, its not a dynojet its a superflow

I plan on doing gears at some point. I figured I would wait for once and see what setups work best before diving in.
