I went to the track this weekend for the first time in the GXP. I ran the car 7 times with the worst being 13.007 and the best being a 12.995 @ 108.25. I must say that I am very pleased with the results especially since the car still only has 3000 miles on it and has not fully broke in yet. I am definately leaning toward putting some type of CAI (can't decide which one yet) and a tune. I am wanting to get it around a 12.5 or 12.6 with just those two mods. These GXP's are amazing machines to say the least considering mine weighed in at 4150 at the track.

Thanks. I am hoping that I can get down to a high 12.5 or low 12.6 with just a cai and tune. After that, I will probably try some long tubes and see if I can break into the 12.4 range. Nice time is your sig by the way.

I am thinking that a 12.5 or a .6 with just a CAI and tune is just to much on those items. since you said your best was a 12.995 and worst a 13.007 so a average of 13.001 I think it will take alot more to get you that .500 you might get to a 12.7 or a 12.8 also have to take into account the track and weather. just my .02$ but great run none the less it is great to see a bone stock car in the 12's

Congrats on the nice times! A few questions for you. Which tires do you have, Potenzas or RS-As? What kind of 60 ft times were you cutting? Any idea of what the Density Altitude, or other weather conditions were for your runs? Where were you running at? Just curious. Well that just means that all the stock GXPs faster than me (all 3 of you!) are A6 cars. I am certain that I would have run a 12.9 or 13.0 last weekend with DA of -500 ft, but we got snowed out at Cordova, IL. I hope to get 1 or 2 more runs in before snow shuts down the tracks here in the upper midwest.
