A/C turning on by itself.

For the past 2 days, my A/C keeps turning on by itself. I turn it off and a few minutes later it will turn back on COMPLETELY ON IT'S OWN!!! Anyone else see this and any idea why this is happening?

Is it set on auto? Thats all i can think of.

It turns on when I hit defrost and it can't be shut off when defrost is on.

Defrost isn't on. It just keeps tuning on by itself with dual zone on. I turn off dual zone, put the temp back to were I want it, and it'll turn on by itself again with the dual zone back on at the same temp settings i never use.

Yes, my AC keeps coming on even after I have powered down the heat/ac controls and had the ac off prior to that.

So to make sure I am clear, it is COMPLETELY turned off and comes on by itself? No defrost, The power button was pressed into the off mode correct?

From what I read in the owners manual the car is supposed to "remember" the climate settings based on which key you use. Mine seems to. You should take it to the dealer and have them check it.

yup you are correct. No defrost at all which works without A/C for me btw. But yeah ill have everything off and it'll just come on. Hasn't done it since this afternoon but it's been doing it the last few days.
