I would just like to make it known that Mike at New Era Performance, after contacting him regarding my engine failure, has stepped up to the plate and has reimbursed me for my insurance deductible. He stated to me that he backs his company and his products 100% and even though it was against his policies, he decided to go above them in this unforseen and unfortunate circumstance and reimbursed me my deductable. Thank you mike and New Era Performance.

That's great! :) Bummer part is you will still pay for it over time with an increase in your insurance premium.:(

My insurance isnt going up because my insurance company allows 1 claim a year. This is my 1st claim since I started driving in '94. So i'm good with that.

That's the right thing to do on his part. He's extremely lucky insurance is paying for most of these cars, or else he could end up footing the entire engine repair bill.

Good job, Mike. It's good to hear something good, after all the negativity floating around recently.

Might be worth a phone call to New Era to see if he will extend that offer to you as well. He pretty much opened himself wide open to small claims litigation by doing this. While it was the honorable thing to do, I'm sure no attorney would have ever advised this.

WOW all kinds of happy things going on here...

Sometimes policy's have to be pushed aside to keep the public happy...

Mike... You've done the right thing. #1 ethically and #2 to keep people coming to your shop and to keep the good name you've worked so hard for over the years.

It was the 2008 Phillies World Series Championship Banner with the WS trophy in front. I took it at a game when they had it on display. Since they lost today, 10/8, its being changed again. I'm superstitious like that.
