HOLY CRAP I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH SHITTY TIRES IN MY WHOLE DRIVING LIFETIME.

I hydroplane all the god forsaken time on these. They're wearing out extremely fast, and I'm not even doing burnouts! I have almost 12k on the car, and my tires are easily almost half gone. Forget getting these again. I'm getting Falkens.

As for snow tires, I'm going to get two for the rear, since we'll probably be stuck driving the G8 atleast a small handfull of times in the ice and slush. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've driven in the rain now..

Ditto - worst tires EVER...
Thinking of some Michelin Pilot sport A/S's or maybe some winter tires and getting some other rims & wheels for the summertime.

Obviously you've never had Goodyear LS-2s...they're even worse.

I was willing to walk away from the dealer until he agreed to get the only
G8GT in the area that had the Bridgestone tires on it, just so he could
swap it's wheels for the ones on my car so I could lose the all-weather
GS-A "upgrade".

I was looking into the Pilot Sport AS. But, I think I'm going to get some summer only tires and keep the remainder of the RSAs for shitty weather.

My GT did not have the all-season "upgrade" and
even though I really don't like Bridgestone, I have
to admit these are pretty good. Got 10.5 K on them
and they still look almost new, and no hydroplaning.

I Wish GM would drop these junky tires, my last car had them too. Pure garbage.

I had rsa's on my grand prix gtp,FWD+290 hp=no traction
they actually lasted longer than any other tire cause they are not soft at all-35k as opposed to an avg of 20-25 with softer ones

hated them!

How about this. What is the best, stickiest, sport, summer only tire out there that will fit these cars?

They sure do suck, almost as much as the LS-2's. God I hate Goodyear.

Goodyear makes some pretty good tires. Infact, I've tested several when the first came out. But, I definitely will not be returning to RSAs. Their higher end performance line is really good, though.

I would love the Pilot Sport AS, but they're on the expensive side.

I really liked the Goodyear Assurance tires I got for my last car. Not the quietest but they worked real well for me.

I agree about the higher end tires however I've never had a set of Goodyear tires that I've liked.

My bro was looking at some Goodyear F1's for his Subaru but found some BFG's that rated higher on the Tire Rack scale and were a pound lighter than the F1's. The F1's are GREAT tires though.

Check out T/R for some tests of the tires. RSA's are really a good touring tire as they are pretty quiet.
