it sounds much better than my ported enclosure that just sat in my trunk
there is a bit of rattle from the heat shields underneath the car, but that is an easy fix
i just kinda got it installed the other day, nothing too major yet, still contemplating where i want to hide all wires

NDM is the persons screen name on here, he has done other people's enclosures also, he does amazing work, unfortunately i think he is still away for the army

wait till you put your equipment in the trunk. I play hockey as well...and my wheel well sub enclosure loses significant amount of sound when I load up the trunk. I'd be interested to know if yours does the same. Also, I wrapped the wheel well in some "dynamat" from Home Depot :)

i still may wrap the whole trunk in dynamat. the only thing that rattles is something around the passenger side fender(maybe my heat shield), i dynamatted the license plate(no more rattle there)
as for the sound with my equipment in the trunk, it slightly drains the sound, not a whole lot though

yeah I've got a single 12" and not driving a tremendous amount of juice to it (450RMS amp)...I'm not sure what you're exactly running but I just assume driving two woofers you probably won't lose quite as much.

Yeah I'd say that probably puts out some more volume ;)

Very nice looking setup, it does sound better than a stand alone box in the trunk I found as well (and the space savings is worth its weight in gold)

Very nice. I wonder if you could clean up the speaker wires down the middle. If it was a nice, clean straight line that would be perfect. Some kind of stiff plastic tubing or something would do the trick...probably could find something in the electrical or plumbing section at your local hardware store. How does it sound?

I don't know what the inside of the box looks like but maybe the terminals could have been on the other side of the box (toward the front of the car).

Run the wire to the rear of the trunk.then around the outsides of the tirewell....Kindof like walking around the perimeter of an empty pool.

You'll use more wire but it will look better.

i haven't figured it all out just yet, but that's a good idea. i also thought of running them underneath the enclosure, and coming out to where the terminals are

The cover will have red LED's under it so when the lights are on, it will glow red.

I make them for people, but I need a little break to get some more work done on my Kitchen renovation......

A couple of weeks should do me good since the wife is getting anxious....

So far I have only repeated the enclosure...not the Covers....

this is the first leather like cover....

Im going to run out of ideas by the time I redo my own system.....

Since i have had it out of my car for months to do everybody else's projects.... No sounds for me:wacko:

It arrives tomorrow, gonna hook it up with the red led's and take pictures

got it all installed, have to take pics, i didn't have time last night as the trunk light would not turn off for a long ass time, and i didn't want to wait 15 mins for it to shut off
