Added a shot of giggle gas to the G8. AND THESE TIRES HOOK!


We went to the track sunday to beat my PB for the last time since im selling the car.

The current setup had a wet 100 shot on it (or so i thought).

I ended up with a 12.44 @ 107.89mph with a 1.66 60'


After coming home, something came to me... and i took apart the nozzle. I had a god damn 50 shot in there. I forgot that last week i put the 50 back in so the kid who is buying it doesnt kill himself. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. I've been soo busy with moving to my new place, and an upcoming court date, and trying to squeeze 45 hours of work into 4 days, that it totally slipped my mind.

I was kind of dissapointed because i wanted to hit my goal of an 11.80. Probably still wouldnt have hit it.. but it would have been damn close.

Oh well.. bittersweet i suppose.


Before anyone asks my mods..

- Intake
- Kooks LT Header/Xpipe with a Flowmaster 40 axleback
- 3200 Stall with trans cooler
- 275/40/17 MT ET streets
- 50 wet shot
- STOCK ASS TUNE.. no knock with the nitrous... but definitley needs a tune. Only thiny changed in the PCM is the 4cyl/8cyl mode is turned off.. since i didnt like the drone/noise.

Ummm, so you trapped the same that I did and ran .6 quicker on a 60' that was .3 quicker? Son of a bitch I gotta get me some juice! I wont, but it'd be nice lol.

Although seeing that you have headers, Im kinda disappointed you didnt trap higher. Maybe that has to do with the convertor and tires?

I'd chalk a lot of it up to the fact he has NO TUNE. :)

never got the converter issues tuned out (lockup)

bone stock GM tune.. i was saving for a whole cam/heads/tune in the spring.


I ran a 12.9 at 109mph with JUST HEADERS/xpipe on a stock tune and bone stock car.

you can tell how messed up the tune was by my N/A Times on sunday..


what was once 12.9 at 109 with a high DA (exhaust only)... is now a 13.2 at 102 with a decent-mid DA (full mods N/A)...


the tune is right there in the trap.

Tuned and with a 100 shot.. 11s no doubt at 113-115.


As for now.. I sold the car for $900 less than i paid for it in january ;)

I will have 3 other cars to drive as i have my 1993 SHO Taurus (will be stored over winter), im aquiring a 2002 GTP with 260fwhp, and a 1998 Camry v6 for a Winter/beater. I decided saving up for a house is more important at this point than a fast car ;)
