thinking of going to lapeer dragway this weekend, and next weekend the 10th is a mustang day at ubly, could be fun to go there that day.

Sounds like fun! Hopefully more people will chime in.


I was going to head to Stanton, MI this Wednesday 9/30 for test & tune, but I just looked on their website http://www.midmichmotorplex.com/events.html and they are done with Wednesday test & tunes. Just a few weekend dates in October (which I will definitely hit at least one of).


Lapeer Dragway could be an option this Saturday 10/3 http://www.lapeerdragway.com/schedule.html, it looks like Lapeer is open until November 30th (according to their website).


The Mustangs R coming (Mustang Day) at Ubly Saturday October 10th sounds like there could be some fun match ups with some Rustangs :) http://main.theublydragway.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=47&Itemid=54

I'm more than likely going to go to the Ubly Dragstrip this Saturday 10/3 12noon - 6pm, it's only $20 for car & driver.

I haven't been there before, so it will be cool to race new people....... :)

I am debating trailering my truck out there, or racing the G8 at ubly.

or just running up to lapeer.

I would love to go to Lapeer, but whats up with their rules on their website---- it says we need a drive shaft loop if we go faster than 13.99 "OR" run slicks.... I thought the rules were if you RAN SLICKS you needed the driveshaft loop but their statements says "OR" .. is that a typo? do they really require it? any ideas or clarifications????? thx

Game on! I called Ubly, and they plan on being open tomorrow. It's only $20 for car & driver. And I'm bringing an appetite for horse! :D

Horse burgers FTW! (It's Mustangs are coming day/weekend)......
