Took the car to the track to test the new tranny tune. It was 77 degrees and
the DA was at 1856 and the humidity was around 75%. I wasn't expecting any records with those readings and a rookie driver.... LMAO

I brought my camera and let John [Devilish34] run my car a few times so I could take a few photos. He ran a 12.18 in the heat. Then ran a slippery 12.22 and 12.23 . Like I said no records but the tranny is shifting and not hitting the rev limiter. The 275/45R17 DRs will now spin very easily at the line. I blame this on the 3.27 diff. Need bigger DRs for better times and some cooler weather.

Here's Johnny:

Roy:

I'm sure with the new tranny tune, the car is better to drive on the street as well as the drag strip.

Question - I know I've probably asked this in the past, but what Pedders / BMR parts do you have on your car to prevent wheel hop? I want to use the wheel / tire combo that we both have, but don't want my G8 to break another drive shaft..... :)

Just the BMR trailing arms and diff bushings as far as I know

Thanks! I've gotta get the essential wheel hop preventative parts on my car soon. Definitely before I try to use my drag radials again....
