Has anyone done this?

I just saw it on ebay and went to the Hurst website and sure enough they have it. This is pretty quick compared to the several years it took to do a Hurst shift for a 2004-2006 GTO. Looks pretty good IMHO.

Someone is selling it on ebay for $370 which is well less than the $450 the Hurst website sells it for.

Any vendors on this site have it?

If Hurst has it I can get it. I will see if I can dig up a price.

Our price is $345.95 shipped. We don't have it in stock but I am pretty sure Hurst has them.
The only issue I see is that the Hurst website says it is for the 2010 Camaro only unlike the Ebay sale that states it is for the G8 GXP also.

If anyone want one let me know. I will have it posted on our site soon. The part number will be HUU3916030 (http://PacePerformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=264771). If I see multiple are interested I can look into group buy prices.

The installation guide on Hurst's website is titled "2010 and up Chevrolet Camaro & 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP". So I assume it would work. My question is, what would be the advantages? Any and all please, thanks.

If you down load the installation instructions they use a G8 to demo the install, so it works.

What benefit, I am not sure. My shifter is really smooth and I do not have any missed shift issues like I did with my 2005 GTO.

I assume the Hurst shifter has shorter throws and a smoother action. All very important things you want when driving the car hard or at the strip. Who knows maybe it's worth a tenth in the quarter.

It does look pretty cool IMHO though.

Hopefully Hurst/B&M did a better job on the shifter for the new manual than they did on the GTO. The reviews weren't great when it finally came out.

if this is the new one:

what happened to this one?

the new one looks more like a vanity shifter than a performance one

I'm liking the design of the Rip Shift.

It is phenomenal. Looks slick as hell and feels great!! The throw of the shifts are greatly reduced and feel much tighter. :)

Don't suppose they plan to make an auto shifter?

I don't have any issues with the stock shifter.

Has anyone gone with the Ripshift yet?

Curious for feedback.
