In the DIY post about the heater hoses....the hoses were installed under the wire harness. Here its over the top of the harness. Which is better before I go and untwist mine ???

Under makes them very neat. Rays came out neat going over, so either way would be fine as long as they are flat to the inner fender.

NP. If you look at the pics you will see how you need to twist them slightly.

I know this is really old but can you do this with the stock heater hoses?

Not likely because of the OEM hose forming. I guess you could cut and splice if you had too.
Charlie just made a much better version of that.

I think the factory heater hoses are shorter too. Maybe they aren't but, like Ray said, the way they are formed will cause problems.

The way they are designed it is almost impossible to achieve the same look without it looking worse then it does.

So do you have to completely flush the cooling system or do you just loose some of the coolant? If so how much?

G8 Ray, how much of a difference can you tell with the cross brace? I love me some curvy roads. I think the car handles great, at least the GXP does, but how much of a difference can you tell?

Just drain some and refill. Usually it takes everyone 45 min to 1 hr tops from start to finish.

I dunno. It's my beauty bar. The G8 is tight enough just with the Pedders street II.
