Great detective work guys. It is a Ute. JHP bought a GXP in SoCal, then swapped front ends. This is the envy of every Ute owner. They know that about 1000 front ends are coming up for sale and they are lining up. What is funny is they get requests for HSV front ends here in Oz from us in the States. Maybe JHP can set up a swapping service. The problem is... who goes without a front end while the other is shipped?

Its one of the JHPs utes (pick up) and should have been a G8 ST.... 6.0 L (L98) with stick shift, 3.27 LSD

Me. Cuz when the first snow flies in SD, the G8 isn't being driven again until the roads have been cleaned in April.

Altho I should just buy the swap from JHP so I can revert it to stock if/when I ever sell this thing.

Personally, I am happy with the pontiac front end. I would only put a unique front end on the 2nd G8. Right now, it is being stored. I will keep it stock and try to keep the miles super low. I'm betting that Barrett Jackson might have a slot for this all original car someday. If I am not around, then my kids can cash in.

Sorry, none of you qualify. Unless you have a daughter that one of my last two boys might marry!!
