I'm not stressing over it or anything like that. I just caught it on the news tonight about some of the companies in big trouble and need the bailout. GM was one mentioned. Just made me wonder.

No, GM asked for help for money to help create/build technology to surpass the japanese. Their gov't does it, why cant ours?

Holden will be spun off LONG before GM declares bankruptcy. And, even if they do, it's not like a bankrupt business just shuts its doors.

Bankruptcy is just a protection from creditors. If those people want their money, then it is in their best interest to keep GM selling cars. Pensions, benefits, and all the other crap will go away - but the car selling business will stay right where it is.

Take a look at Enron and WorldCom. They have different names and execs, but they're still around.

Go ahead and wire him up some more! He has been banned from caffine already. I hope he gets it soon. The only person I know that has that many bolt ons and no car! LOL
