HID Ballast..

quick question.... got my fog light hid's... they worked perfect.. but now the the drivers side is not working.. im thinking the ballast is broken..the person who installed it didnt mount it.. just tied it and let it hang... does the ballast have to be mounted..? cause im guessing it must of hit metal around it and got messed up..

possibly i had to get a new ballast because of that. once in a blue moon one of mine wont come on but i just shut the lights only off manually and turn them back on and they turn on. the ballast is supposed to be put some where that gets a lot of air so that it wont over heat under the hood.

and also he should of mounted them if you paid for it. by velcro (my spelling sucks and that doesn't look right) or mounted it out of the way.
