I heard that Newcomb's Ranch may have burnt down... Anyone got any connections to find out?
Anyone have any fire pictures?
I hope everyone is safe and sound and out of harms way.

My uncle's house is literally on the edge of the national park on fire. It's pretty much straight north of Ontario, and is still several miles from the fire, so far.

Is your Uncle's house in Upland?
My best friend from there lives in Wrightwood. I need to call him today.

Yes Newcombs burnt down. This is coming from a couple of friends from another Motorcycle site I am Admin on. They ride those roads and eat there all the time.

I haven't heard anything about wrightwood at all, so far.

and for Newcomb's, No one can confirm it.... I found forum posts going both ways, one even says that Newcombs is still standing and is feeding firefighters!

Hopefully soon I can go look for myself.

I wanna say it's Alta Loma. Gated community at the North end of Haven Ave.

Alta Loma is North of Baseline. Part of Rancho Cucamonga. You may be thinking of Victoria, another community of Rancho.

Ok, yeah, it's Rancho Cucamonga. I checked my address book. Well north of Chaffey Community College.

This is all my neck of the woods... my house is covered in a blanket of ash right now and mid day sun looks like dusk... its weird. Luckily we're far enough away that we're in no immediate danger, but it don't look good for those farther up the hill right now.

He lives at Haven Estates? That is a beautiful gated community with some awesome million dollar homes. I had to do a couple of property evaluations on some homes there, including one with a "15" car garage.

That sounds like the place. Hopefully it's still as nice after the fires dies out.

Don't worry, the fires were quite a ways away from Haven Estates.
