What do you do? I thought I was burning though a 4 ga. wire somehow when the wife said "Are you sure you don't have a bag on the exhaust". Ding Ding Ding! Now, how do you get rid of it? It is good and messy/melted.

Unfortunately your pretty much screwed until it burns itself off. If you can get it up in the air you might be able to take a heat gun (hairdryer), warm it up, and scrape it of with a putty knife or use a light grain sand paper....Best thought I can tell you.
Definitely sucks....

That's happened to me before. I was able to pull it off cold without leaving much. But you could go for a good run, drive right up on ramps, and putty knife it off.

i have no idea if it will work or not but you could try those compressed cans of air at the computer store and freeze it up?

That happened to me on a previous car. You'll just have to wait until it burns off.

Keeps your wife from wanting to drive your car. Best bang/buck mod I've ever seen.

Too funny! I ran the car hard last night and most of the smell is gone now. Thanks for your tips everyone.
