This one looks better than the blue one I've seen on here IMO. Nice

Is that a penquin on steriods, on the hood?

Mistake going with the 77-78 style nose with single headlamps. It still looks like a Chevy. They should have gone with the 70-72 design.

No thanks. If I want a screaming chicken on the hood I'll sacrifice my retirement and get a Ban III from Year One. Everyone and his brother has a ZR1, I want something different :nah:

It could be very nice, but needs some minor mods.

Starting off BADS!!!

1st - Just have the shaker, not a cowl with shaker, it looks a little ricey and overdone, like the multi cowl hoods for 82-92 Camaro's that EVERYBODY has seen and EVERYBODY hates!:) Fill in the Z06 inspired scoop just infront of the hood.

2nd - The headlights/bezel area needs some improvement. Needs TWO headlights instead of one, that draws the look back towards a Camaro.

3rd - Fin/Tails/Tips. I know the thing now a days is to have a retro rod look, but this is trying to overdo it. The fin is decent, and actually seems more derived of a TA than Camaro, but the up/down alignment/size of it just looks out of place. The TA they're trying to replicate had a completely flat back end, which contoured to the spoiler nicely. With the various bends and curves of the back end, that spoiler kills it. The tails are OK, but as I said, it just looks weird with the "peak" as I call it in the middle of the bumper and valance. If a body shop could just mold some bumpers and valances that were straight across it wouldn't be so bad. Now for the tips, YUCK! I think it's the positioning, maybe if they were closer to the wheel like the late 70s/early 80s TAs it would be a little better. The 5th Camaro's "mini" trunk doesnt have the room to make those tips work. They're too close to haging out back. I would prefer a straight chromed/slash cut/rolled tip better.

Finishing off GOODS!

1st - The Screaming chicken actually flows well with the body lines of the car. I'm anti-Chicken on anything but a 2nd gen 'bird, but this works for me!

2nd - The retro inspired wheels with rivets are sweet looking IMO, and match it all up nicely!

3rd - The side grills set it off and are actually a nice compliment to the rest of the car. Nicely done.

Drop the 3.8 GTA TT motor into it and I'm there. Otherwise, as much as I prefer Pontiac's take on the F-body since the dawn of history, I don't like this any more than I like the Camaro, and I don't really care much for it, either.

I'm a -1 on this one. Too many average joe's will see it and say "look its black Camaro with a birdie on the hood". As much as I support the Camaro drivers out there, it's just doesn't feel like a Pontiac. Period.

I will comment since I was there, as this is 2 miles from my house.

The thing looks like absolute ASS! Its a Camaro that was converted and designed by this guy to look like what he wanted the new Trans Am to be. Most people there were not diggin' it, as I heard many negative comments. It just didn't look "RIGHT." I applaud his design for creativity however.

Are they allowed to use that name since GM still owns the name?

This is a Trans Am. I know it's a Trans Am because I see who's driving it. I also see a big shit eating grin on his face.
