Raced friends 08' Duramax

My friend just got a new 08 2500 GMC with the LMM Duramax and has been going on for day's how its the fastest vehicle he has ever been in. I was fine with this until he brought up my car and was saying he would destroy it in a drag race. Now knowing I would kill him since I had an 06 LBZ Duramax and knew what they could do. I said if he was so confident then lets line em up which he was very much obliged to do. When we got there I said lets make it interesting and gave him three truck lengths. I flashed my lights three times and we were off, needless to say by 80 I had 4-5 car lengths on him when I shut it down. We got back to his house and he had to tuck his tail and come back with "Well its still pretty fast for a truck!" Now today he calls me and said he spend $2500 and that in two weeks we will line them up again and see what happens. I said bring it!

Tell him to focus on making it an off-road truck and not bother with beating fast cars.

gotta friend with an 08 dodge 3/4 ton 4x4. stock size tires but he has the whole banks power pack setup, six gun and the exhaust. that thing is stupid fast. granted i still walked away from him in the girlfriends G35 but still quick for a big ass truck.

Thats the thing he is quite loaded and I told him he should just buy the Camaro that he wants and we can race car v car and not truck v car. It was when he called my car a slow grandma car that really got my goin. So now I say I beat his fast truck with my grandma car.

oh no doubt. we went to hattisburg to the track last year, there was a guy there with a regular cab 2wd chevy 1/2 ton pickup. had dropped a duramax in it. only had a programmer on it (dont remember if it was a smarty or what) but that thing was a 12 second rocket. every pass... consistant and fast. diesel's are not to be taken lightly

Oh I'd love to have a Duramax! Throw a Banks TT setup with a two-step and teach the uppity car owners that think trucks belong solely off road a thing or two!:devil:

we have beaten the lightning and the srt 10 trucks the truck would have to be heavily modded to hang not saying we arent though :)
