Yesterday morning I had to take the car up for state inspection. I decided to give it a bath before I went as it's been sitting in the garage since last November. On the way to the inspection station the check engine light came on and the car started to run rough. I pulled the code in the parking lot and it was 3001, cylinder 1 misfire. So, I went home to diagnose the issue. I checked the plug wires then swapped 1 and 3, same code. Swapped coils 1 and 3, same code. Swapped plugs 1 and 3, new code...3003, misfire cylinder 3. The sparkplug died. Really? Off the the parts story for a new set of plugs. I came home and changed the plugs and she runs like new. Unfortunately, by the time I finished it was too late to head back to the inspection station. What really gets me is there wasn't a car in line when I got there yesterday and when I go back on Monday, I'm sure, the place will be mobbed!

Today l was in Czech Republik. It is only 100km from me. I bought some tools, and others, and made my fuel tank full. All is about 30- 50% cheaper than in germany. Now i make a little clean up in- and outside.

Yesterday I finalized my plan for changing the exhaust behind the ARH X-pipe from 2.5" to 3" all the out. I'll start the transformation next week.
