Today i could drive first time since i have my g8 for a little piece on german Autobahn 235 km/h. ( I believe this maybe 147 miles/h) More i have not dared, because the rear tires are not the best. I change next weeks to winter tires and with these i can not test, how fast my car is. Next spring with new summer tires i will try. I think there could 280 km/h, - less, or more come out.

Yeah, I think I am rethinking this now. Finding an appropriately sized pie plate is proving next to impossible. I think the one I have coming via Amazon is going to be too small. My previous mending plate was just for a small area near the grommet for the wires. I am going to have to do a large mending plate that is an entire ring around the hole. I am going to get some supplies tonight to get the hole sealed up temporarily so that I can get the car on the road again. I have some racing I need to get ready for. I will work on a more elegant plate as I have some time.

Always something with this car. Currently radiator fan issues including a melty harness connector. Fans and harness parts on order. Hope they get here quickly, supposed to go racing this weekend.

Temporary cover in place now. Pie tin came last week and may actually be a workable temporary to permanent solution I will try it out this week. The real cover will probably go on the shelf again. I may mess with it again this winter when I have time.

Pulled radio to do VIM and Reverse Cam programming, as well as installed the VIM cable to connect to a 2nd gen apple tv. Found a nice, inexpensive, usb powered portable router to connect it, and once the HDMI to RCA converter comes in, it all should be up and running!

Don't know which brand you used, but the new 2.0 system clay when you wash works well also.
