I really like the brushed material. Much more so than the CF vinyl. Good job!

Thanks, yeah I thought it was a little less common, and not as "fake" looking, though I like the carbon too.
Am I the only one who gets really nervous putting the airbag back on?!

Ugh yep, wow I feel like a dummy now that's why it wasn't lighting up. I had dome lights disabled, enabled them and covered the ring with my hand and it was faintly lit in the afternoon sunshine. Haha thank you! You surely saved me from much hassle/headache trying to make it work again.

It's a pretty silly setup if you ask me. If the dome lights are on, you don't need the ring light because you can see where the key goes. When the dome lights are disabled and it's dark in the car is when it would be nice to have a light to guide your key into the ignition.

Took the kids to lunch in it and according to my daughter, tickled their tummies with a small burst of acceleration.

I never knew that ring of light would turn off.. after 5 years I'm still learning new things about this car.

Finally got my Solo Axle Backs installed. Hate that it took nearly a year for me to make the G8 sound like God intended a V8 to sound! Only dislike so far is when DoD kicks in. Sounds sort of like a cruise ship leaving port. Worse case scenario I'll turn off DoD.
