What did you do to your G8 today?

Received my vinyl wrap kit - with heat gun, which I shall enjoy playing with - and the Redline 75W90NS transmission lube from Pace (thanks, Greg!) that I'll use for my Subaru beater. I intend to wax the G8 with Adams Americana tonight, and if I have the time, I'll likely try to wrap the trunk lid.

I'm also still waiting on the HID fog ballasts from Spencer. I called him on Tuesday (March 1st), and he's got them back in stock and needed to get them out. No updates since. I placed the original order on February 2nd.

Changed the oil and gave her a bath. I found the leaking oil was coming from the oil plug. I wrapped it with Teflon tape. Glad it's not anywhere else.

I filed up two days ago and premium cost me $3.75/gal. Since the 'feed me' light was on, it cost me just under $60 for the fill-up. Oye...

Topped off the tank .. almost fainted as I pulled up to find that gas is now over 4.00 bucks a gallon in CT!!!! WTF!!!!
The news shows the average is up to $3.39 in the U.S. ..Where? Would love to know who has it for 3.39 a gallon! One station in CT has it up to 4.15 for premium already. Seen prices jump 50 cents in under a week here!

Not too sure I understand .. our reserves were purchased at the old prices.
All the gas that has been refined already was purchased at the old prices.
The tankers waiting to unload their fuel at our refineries was purchased at the old prices..
Please do not tell me its Libya because we do not receive any crude from that shit hole.
Why the FK is gas at or over 4.00 a gallon already in my state?

Too bad you don't live closer to the Pike. Still cheaper than that around here..


I paid $54 to fill the tank recently. I think I got almost 16 gallons in, 93 octane.
