I'll just re-use your picture because it was dark out when I got home!

We got just over a foot of snow, but luckily this stuff is lighter and not as wet as the first batch of snow that we got last week. That snow was crippling (we made the national news last week, a Buffalo tradition!) but now the roads are all clean and mainly dry or at least clear.

    Good times.

Mongos that really sucks. I almost did the same thing walking on my work bench and reaching for a long tube with the metal ends and it fell and hit my head light lucky I had the head light protectors on so no damage. We can be such dumb asses some times. Hope you can get it fixed.

I was thinking the same, especially for something as simple as a cold solder joint. Then again, it's possible - and quite likely - that I exacerbated the problem when inserting the arms into the housing. Regardless, contacting their Customer Service was a pleasant experience, as I got a real human and he was entirely cordial. I told 'em I wanted to have a go at fixing it myself and, if I couldn't, then I'd send it in. They were fine with that. Since I was able to fix it, they credited my account for $11.79 for my troubles. I'm pleased, to say the least.

It's cool that they gave you a credit for fixing the bulb. I doubt that a lot of places would do that.

Thanks texn884 .. You sometimes wonder what the hell we were thinking.

I had tried to buff it out with my PC with some deep swirl remover and I had gotten some of the small scuffs out but the one scratch is still there and a little deep.
I'm so pissed at myself for this.. My wife has been busting my balls all frigging day about it because she insisted I move the car in the first place but the typical man response was "I can handle it" .. when it comes back out in the spring I might have the hood resprayed and cleared.

I can kick myself in the ass for being a dumb-ass. One time I should have listened to the wife.

And unfortunately it's on the fritz again today. Guess my fix didn't hold. Oh well. I've emailed V-LEDs. We'll see what they say.
